Hi, I'm Jenna — a registered and licensed occupational therapist specializing in pelvic floor health, with a particular passion for supporting women through pregnancy and the postpartum journey.
Following my degree in Health Science and minor in Holistic Health, I went on to earn my Master's in Occupational Therapy from Stockton University in New Jersey, where I was born and raised. My path to pelvic health was shaped both by my clinical training and by my own experience as a pregnant woman and mom — realizing firsthand how few accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based resources exist for women during one of the most significant transitions of their lives. I continue to expand my expertise through extensive post-graduate education in pelvic floor function, conditions, interventions, and specialized pre- and postpartum care.
What sets my approach apart is the OT lens. Rather than treating the pelvic floor in isolation, I look at the whole person — your daily routines, your movement patterns, your habits, your environment, and your goals. Because real healing happens in the context of real life.
My mission is simple: to bring function and confidence back to moms and moms-to-be, and to every woman who has been told that leaking, pain, or discomfort is just something she has to live with. It isn't.
When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my sweet family — likely at the beach or on a hike looking for new birds to add to my life list. ☀️
Every session begins with listening. Your experience, your symptoms, and your goals shape every aspect of your care.
Pelvic health doesn't exist in a vacuum. I consider your full picture — physical, emotional, and functional — in everything we do together.
Understanding what's happening in your body is the first step toward changing it. I believe informed women make confident decisions.
I'd love to hear from you.
What we treat
Many women are told their symptoms are normal or untreatable. They aren't. Pelvic floor therapy can help with a wide range of conditions and concerns across the lifespan.
Leaking with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or urgency. Common — but not something you have to accept.
Pain in the pelvis, hips, tailbone, or lower abdomen at rest or with movement, exercise, or daily activities.
Chronic bladder pain and urinary urgency or frequency that affects daily comfort and quality of life.
A feeling of heaviness, pressure, or bulging in the pelvic region due to pelvic organ descent.
Difficulty with bowel movements, straining, incomplete emptying, or pain with defecation.
Pain during or after sex, including conditions like vaginismus, vulvodynia, and dyspareunia.
Pubic symphysis pain, SI joint dysfunction, round ligament pain, and hip discomfort during pregnancy.
Urinary leakage is common during pregnancy — and treatable. You don't have to wait until after delivery.
Perineal massage, pushing techniques, breath strategies, and pelvic floor preparation for childbirth.
Separation of the abdominal muscles during or after pregnancy, affecting core strength and function.
Scar tissue management, core restoration, and functional recovery following cesarean delivery.
Comprehensive postpartum recovery addressing leaking, prolapse, pain, and return to activity.
Reach out and we'll talk through your symptoms together. If pelvic floor therapy isn't the right fit, I'll help point you in the right direction.
How we work together
All services begin with an initial evaluation. From there, we'll build a plan that fits your needs, your schedule, and your goals.
A comprehensive pelvic floor assessment that forms the foundation of your care. We'll review your history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and complete a thorough evaluation to guide your treatment plan.
Ongoing in-person pelvic floor therapy for clients who benefit from continued manual treatment, hands-on assessment, and direct therapeutic care between sessions.
A structured virtual coaching program for clients who want expert guidance, education, and accountability from anywhere.
Align Pelvic Wellness is a cash-based practice, meaning we do not bill insurance directly. A superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please reach out with any questions about rates or payment options.
Pelvic floor therapy is specialized care that addresses the muscles, connective tissue, and nerves of the pelvic region — and how they affect your body as a whole. These structures support your bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs and play a role in everything from core stability to daily comfort. When they aren't working well, symptoms like leaking, pain, pressure, and constipation can follow. Pelvic floor therapy gets to the root of those symptoms so you can get back to feeling like yourself.
Your first session is a comprehensive evaluation covering your health history, symptoms, and goals — followed by a thorough assessment to guide your care. Follow-up sessions focus on hands-on treatment, exercise progression, and strategies you can use in everyday life. All sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. All you need is a safe space suitable for some exercise-based movement and a mobile treatment table (brought with me).
Both disciplines can specialize in pelvic floor therapy with similar specialized post-graduate assessment and treatment training. What OT brings is a whole-person perspective — considering how your symptoms affect your daily routines, roles, and quality of life. It's pelvic floor care that goes beyond the muscle to look at the full picture of your health and function.
Treatment frequency and duration vary depending on your individual symptoms, goals, and progress. After your initial evaluation we'll discuss recommendations and build a plan that works for you.
Yes. While earlier intervention can be beneficial, it is never too late. Whether your baby is three months or thirteen years old, your body can still respond to treatment. Leaking, prolapse, pain, and other symptoms are not something you simply have to accept because time has passed.
No referral is needed to schedule directly with me. If you plan to submit a superbill to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement, some plans may require a physician referral — it's worth checking with your provider in advance. You can download a referral form for your provider here.
Align Pelvic Wellness is a cash-based practice, meaning I do not bill insurance directly. This allows me to provide higher level, individualized care without the limitations that insurance coverage often places on treatment. Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request I can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt with the necessary codes — for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Yes — pelvic floor therapy is typically an eligible expense for Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts. I recommend confirming with your specific plan, but in most cases you can use your card directly at the time of payment.
All sessions take place in your home. I come to you — no commute, no waiting room, no childcare scramble. Just specialized pelvic floor care in the comfort and convenience of your own space. All you need is a safe area suitable for some exercise-based movement and a mobile treatment table (brought with me).
Comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing — think leggings or loose pants and a relaxed top. No need to prepare anything special.
In-person therapy allows for hands-on assessment and manual treatment that can't be replicated virtually. Online coaching focuses on education, exercise programming, symptom management, and accountability — all delivered remotely.
It's a great option for clients who have already completed an evaluation, live outside my service area, have already addressed specific concerns and now have higher level fitness goals, or prefer the flexibility of virtual support. Not sure which is right for you? Reach out and we'll figure it out together.
I'd love to hear from you.
